Prayer Requests

One of the greatest lessons my parents have taught me is the value of prayer.  Even as a young girl when I mentioned something I was concerned about my mom would immediately ask me if I had prayed about it.  I can hear her voice in my head saying, "God cares about what you care about."  One of the things I know in my core is that if I ask my parents to be in prayer about a specific need or concern they are going to stop and say let's pray about it right now.  There is power in prayer and coming together to submit our concerns before the Lord.
